1. What is 1050 Aluminium alloy used for?
1050A alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, a moderate strength and a highly reflective finish. This grade of alloy is most suitable of use as food industrial containers, architectural flashings, cable sheathings, lamp reflectors and chemical process plant equipment.
2. What is 1000 series aluminum used for?
1000 series aluminium sheet and coil are essentially pure aluminium with a minimum 99% aluminium content by weight and can be work hardened, the aluminium alloys are widely used for industrial purpose and chemical equipment.
3. Can aluminium sheet be bent?
The process of bending aluminum is made extremely easy by this metal's well-known characteristics. In high purity forms, aluminum is soft, ductile, malleable and light. These features allow to bend aluminum, without the risk of breaking it and causing cracks.
